Jason Gaillard Event Painter

 As an event painter, my job is to capture the atmosphere and the mood of an event on canvas. Guests are able to observe as an image emerges right before their eyes. Like a court painter back in the day, I set up my easel and canvas amidst the celebration and begin painting as things unfold. The conversations, gestures, and connections between guests begin to reveal themselves and I start painting a portrait of an evening, party, wedding, corporate event, or celebration. Hand gestures, the subtle tilt of a head laughing, the beautiful lighting on a sea of floral arrangements, waiters/waitresses serving plates of delicious food, musicians filling the air with music, as well as the likenesses of those in attendance are all details recorded for eternity ... an heirloom to remember and remind us of an important moment in our lives. Final details are worked on in my studio from photographs before presenting to the client.

Jason Gaillard has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rhodes Island School of Design and is living and working in New York City. He has been commissioned by celebrities such as Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady, Eddie Vedder, and several corporations and universities. His work has been featured on the cover of American Artist Magazine and is in several prominent collections such as the Forbes Magazine collection, Kip Forbes collection, Hearst collection, and Morgan collection.
